HILTRA®BATTERYSAVER™ BS-FS BASIC PLUS FOR STORAGE OF LITHIUM BATTERIES
Design/fire resistance:
- The composite structure was assessed by the accredited testing institute Efectis®.
- Efectis brandwerendheidsrapport: 94-CVB-R1178/2009-Efectis-R0834(Rev.1)/2010-Efectis-R1117-S.
- Designed as a fire compartment for the storage of lithium batteries on the basis of the directive PGS 37-2.
- Fire resistance (WBDBO) 60 minutes determined in case of a fire from outside and a fire from inside in accordance with NEN 6069.
Casing (walls, roof and door):
- Casing made of galvanized sheet piling.
- Interior made of non-combustible and insulating material and completely finished with galvanized plate.
- The roof is equipped on both long sides with an integrated rain gutter.
- Standard equipped with lifting device suitable for empty transport of the unit .
- Standard equipped with ground connection point.
Floor:
- Floor frame made of steel profiles, concrete plywood board and a top layer of non-skid tear sheet.
- Conservation floor frame: SA2.5 blasting and preservation with 100 µm Acraton zinc phosphate epoxy coating in color RAL 7005/mouse gray.
Door conforming to EN 1634-1 (EI160):
- Fitted with a fire self-closing single or double-leaf door.
- Door wings equipped with latch, panic handle, cylinder lock and door closer.
- Door rebates equipped with fire sealing strips to seal them in case of fire.
Fixture:
- Galvanized shelving, full-width and depth hook-in system with four removable galvanized double PE coated grid shelves, mesh size 35x35 mm.
- Leg shelves loadable to 75 kg (FS1), 110 kg (FS2), 200 kg (FS3)
Emergency pressure hatch:
- Roof equipped with 60 minutes fire resistant emergency pressure hatch 200 x 200 mm with grate closing automatically in case of fire.
- Roof emergency hatch fitted with stainless steel cover cap with Ø 125 mm flange connection for discharge of overpressure and released hydrogen fluoride vapors.
- By user/third party after installation, a connection can be made to the outside air.
- Lithium-ion filter:
- Emergency hatch equipped with special filter mat to keep the (burning) lithium-ion particle inside the cabinet.
Danger designation:
- Hazard signage by means of a type sticker with pictograms, symbol: "smoking and naked flames prohibited" and "flammable substances" and "warning sticker storage li-ion batteries."
Optionally available:
Option A1:
- Outside, except top of roof, finished with a 2K polyurethane coating in standard color: RAL 3020/ traffic red, RAL 5010/ gentian blue, RAL 6002/ hard green, RAL 7035/ light gray or RAL 9001/ cream white.
Option A2:
- Outside, except top of roof, finished with a 2K polyurethane coating in non-standard RAL color (except traffic, luminous, metallic and pearlescent colors).
Options F90
- Fire resistance 90 minutes and doors EI190 executed (instead of standard 60 minutes).
Alarm system P0:
- Bigsaver equipped with fire detection with fire alarm panel, flashlight and audible alarm + forward contact for fire notification to a PAC (or company certified fire alarm panel). Components comply with EN 5413 (see separate explanatory sheet for alarm system P0).
Security system P1 and P3:
- Bigsaver optionally equipped with stainless steel, dry aerosol extinguishing cartridge (number of extinguishing cartridges and content adjusted to cabinet size according to KIWA BRL) and activation via thermo-element or smoke detector (see options) The applied extinguishing system is KIWA certified for extinguishing Li-Ion battery fires. Extinguishing system with service life approx. 15 years.
Electric door closers (24VDC):
- 24 VDC door closers (instead of standard door closers) that can hold the doors open at 90 ° but close automatically in case of fire detection. Only applicable in combination with safety system or P0 or P3.
HF-Filter cassette:
- If construction of a blow-off line to the outside air is not possible, an optional HF filter cassette is available.
